Email addresses

Your account can have multiple email addresses. One is always designated as primary — this is the address SongChart uses for team invitations and account notifications.

Managing email addresses

Open your profile's Settings tab and scroll to Email addresses to see all addresses on your account, their verification status, and which is set as primary.

Adding an email address

Click Add email address and enter the new address.

A one-time verification code is sent to that address. Enter the code to confirm ownership.

Once verified, the address is added to your account. You can then set it as primary if you like.

Setting a primary email

Any verified address can be set as primary. Click Set as primary next to the address you want to use. The current primary address is marked with a Primary badge.

Team invitations use your primary email
When someone invites you to a team by email, the invitation is matched against your primary email address. If you're invited with a different address, you can add it to your account first.

Removing an email address

Click the remove button next to any secondary (non-primary) address to delete it from your account. You cannot remove your primary email — set a different address as primary first, then remove the old one.

Password & two-factor authentication

Password and 2FA settings are managed through Clerk, SongChart's authentication provider. Click Manage password & 2FA in the Security section of your settings to open the Clerk security panel.
