Teams

Team songs & setlists

When you switch into a team workspace, your songs and setlists views show the team's shared library. What each member can see depends on their role and permissions.

Team songs

Songs created in a team workspace belong to the team. They appear in the Songs list for all members who have access — either through their role or because the song's visibility is set to Team or Public.

Who can create songs?

Members with the Songwriter permission — which includes all Admins, and any Worship Leader or Member an Admin has toggled it on for.

Who can view songs?

Admins and Worship Leaders can always see all team songs. Members can see team songs only if their View all songs permission is on, or if a specific song has been shared with them directly.

Team setlists

Setlists created in a team workspace are team setlists. They can include songs from both the team library and personal libraries (as long as you have access to those songs).

Who can create setlists?

Any team member can create a setlist in the team workspace.

Who can view setlists?

Admins and Worship Leaders can always see all team setlists. Members can see a setlist if their View all setlists permission is on, or if they've been explicitly added as a setlist member.

Switching to the team workspace

Use the workspace switcher at the bottom of the sidebar to switch between your personal workspace and any team you belong to. Everything in the dashboard — songs, setlists, and navigation — updates to reflect the active workspace.

Songs stay in their workspace
A song created in your personal workspace doesn't automatically appear in a team workspace, and vice versa. If you want a personal song available to a team, it needs to be recreated in the team workspace or its visibility needs to be set to Public.

Team profile

Each team has a public profile page at songchart.app/teams/[slug]. This page shows the team name, image, and any songs or setlists the team has made public. Admins can manage team details and member invitations from the Settings tab on this page.
