Understanding workspaces
SongChart organizes everything around workspaces. Your workspace determines which songs and setlists you see and who you're collaborating with.
Personal workspace
Every account starts with a personal workspace. Songs and setlists created here are private to you — no one else can see them unless you explicitly share them.
Use your personal workspace to draft songs, experiment with arrangements, or manage music that isn't tied to a team.
Team workspaces
A team workspace is a shared space where members collaborate on songs and setlists together.
Team songs
Songs in a team workspace are visible to all team members. Any member with the right role can view, play, and—depending on their permissions—edit them.
Team setlists
Setlists created in a team workspace can be shared with members for live sessions. Worship leaders control who can see and edit setlists.
Switching between workspaces
The workspace switcher is at the bottom of the left sidebar. Click it to see your personal workspace and any teams you belong to. Clicking a team name switches you into that team's workspace.
Joining a team
Teams are invitation-only. If a worship leader has added your email address, you'll receive an invitation email with a link to join. Once accepted, the team appears in your workspace switcher automatically.
