Setlists

Preparing for a service

The setlist edit page is your primary workspace before a service. Here's a walkthrough of the full preparation flow — from adding songs through to handing the setlist off to your team.

The edit page at a glance

Open a setlist and click Edit to enter the edit page. You'll see:

Cover art

A composite of album art from the first four songs, generated automatically.

Song list

Numbered rows showing each song with its key badge and tempo. Drag to reorder.

Members (team setlists)

The team members invited to this setlist, manageable by Admins and Worship Leaders.

Suggested preparation workflow

1

Add your songs

Click Add Songs and pick the arrangement for each song. Add them in any order — you can reorder later.

2

Set the order

Drag songs into the order you'll perform them. The numbered list reflects how participants will see the setlist.

3

Apply key overrides

Click each song row to set any key or mode overrides for this specific service. The key badge on the row updates immediately.

4

Add notes

For any song that needs special instructions, open its settings and add a note. These are visible to all participants during the live session.

5

Add members (team setlists)

If you're preparing a team setlist, add the team members who'll participate. This grants them access to the setlist and the live session.

6

Start the live session

When you're ready to go live, navigate to SongChart Live and start a session from this setlist. Members can join from any device.
